Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan is back making the rounds during the NFL hiring process as the offseason gets rolling.
Friday produced the biggest Callahan item yet, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers bringing him in town for an interview for their offensive coordinator job.
Where things get interesting, though, is thinking about it from a Bengals perspective.

After all, current Bengals offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher is apparently a top head-coaching option for the Cleveland Browns during this cycle.
Were Pitcher to leave, would Zac Taylor and the Bengals bring Callahan back?
One has to think both parties would be open to the idea. But it would first require Pitcher to actually leave. He’s a well-regarded candidate around the NFL, but it would still be a mild surprise to see him land a gig in what really feels like his first offseason as a major candidate.
