There are numerous Division I prospects competing on District 10 softball fields this spring. Among the Division I recruits are some of the top pitchers in the state. From dominating in the circle to hitting home runs at the plate, there are several two-way players looking to take home the D-10 player of the year award later this year.

Below are 10 all-district choices for fans to vote on for the preseason player of the year. Below the bios is a poll to vote on. The poll will go through Monday night, April 13 at 11:59 p.m.
Angelina Eakman, Mercer, sr. – The Virginia Tech recruit is putting together a big career with the Mustangs. As a junior, she hit .490 with nine doubles, nine home runs and 30 RBIs while also going 9-5 in the circle with 149 strikeouts to just 40 walks.
Kayla Crawford, Cambridge Springs, sr. – The Southeastern Louisiana commit is a big-time weapon for the Blue Devils. She went 15-3 with 208 strikeouts in 115 innings as a junior and is in line to reach several milestones this spring.
Jaidin Frayer, Cochranton, jr. – Frayer has become a multisport standout for the Cardinals. She had a breakout sophomore season as she hit .358 with 18 RBIs and went 15-2 with a 0.68 ERA and 175 strikeouts in the circle.
Sophia Primavere, Seneca, jr. – Primavere was a big part of the Bobcats winning 21 games last spring. She hit .582 with 20 extra-base hits and 42 RBIs to go with a 21-2 record in the circle. She had a 1.25 ERA and struck out 205 batters to 32 walks.
Madelyn Vogan, Sharon, jr. – The Penn State recruit is putting together one of the best careers in District 10 history. As a sophomore, she hit .638 with 15 home runs and 43 RBIs. She also went 22-1 with a 0.54 ERA and 295 strikeouts in 129 innings.
Addison Lucas, Harbor Creek, sr. – The Akron commit is looking to go out on a big senior season. Last spring she hit .493 with eight doubles, three home runs and 28 RBIs while also going 10-5 with a 2.11 ERA and 157 strikeouts in a little more than 96 innings.
Bella Zaczyk, McDowell, jr. – Zaczyk was a playoff star for Fort LeBoeuf last spring. She finished the season hitting .382 with 10 doubles, six home runs (several in the postseason) and 28 RBIs for the Bison.
Ibree Rodgers, Fort LeBoeuf, sr. – Rodgers was another big-time player for the Bison last year. She hit .465 with eight doubles, 10 home runs and 34 RBIs to lead the lineup.
AJ Jarzab, Hickory, so. – Jarzab was a rare all-district freshman but deservingly so. She hit .375 with four home runs and 17 RBIs while dominating in the circle. She won eight games with a 0.49 ERA and 189 strikeouts to nine walks in nearly 87 innings.
Avery Harlan, Wilmington, sr. – The Bradley commit is looking for another big season as she hit .590 with 12 doubles, six home runs and 20 RBIs as a junior.
