Whoa! Those unis are wicked cool. I'm sorry I got my Vick jersey last season (though now it's "throback"). The red is darker than it was in the old Falcons jerseys (the one that Favre wore). Kind of cool. Will look neat in the Georga Dome.

I liked their current uniform - particularly the helmet and the de-emphasis of red in favor of black & white. If they had gotten rid of the red and converted all or part of the white to a pale neon lavendar, they'd have the best uniform design in all of football.
I hate the trend to busier designs (like Denver's which look like the players are wearing suspenders) and feel the Falcs are making an error in following the herd here.
I think Mr. B was right when he once described an earlier Cardinal uniform design as "too busy." I hope we don't break up our designs with a bunch of gimmicky effects. The most I'd do would be the single-color for jersey and pants - and maybe going to a chromium silver (like WSU) or gold helmet with Sonny the Redbird still on it.

Jim please do whatever you can to NOT HAVE ANY RIDICULOUS CREEAAP on the shoulders and sleaves - it's a uniform not a costume!

I liked the black and while Falcs unis, too, but, as a guy that loves wearing my jeresy out, it was really hard to do anything with it. They never really did anything with the red in the colors, so the t-shirt that I had was black with little white "atlanta" lettering and slightly larger red "Falcons" lettering in the middle of the chest. I wanted a red tee to wear under the jersey, and a red hat (fitted), but they never offered anything like that, because their colors were red and black.
Working some of the burgandy into the uni is a step forward, even if they do look a little CFL-y.
