The Atlanta Falcons finally unveiled their new uniform design on Thursday morning and the reaction wasn't overwhelmingly positive or negative. The team changed its main jersey color from black to red, added new numbers and slightly altered the helmets.
"The numbers stood out to me a lot," said Falcons wide receiver Drake London. "I am glad they went back to a more traditional, old-school type of number, but at the same time still has a little bit of Atlanta Falcon flair to it."
Some fans liked the return of the team's full-time red home jerseys, while others lamented the fact that the red throwback helmets were not incorporated into the main design.
The Falcons made sure to clarify that their throwback uniforms and helmets are still in the rotation, and they can wear them up to four times per season.
