Former New York Giants kicker Younghoe Koo has signed with the New York Jets, reports SNY’s Connor Hughes.

BREAKING: The #Jets are signing K Younghoe Koo, sources tell @SNYtv.

Koo spent seven years with the #Falcons where he was a Pro Bowler in 2020. Last year kicked for both Atlanta and the #Giants.

Koo spent seven seasons as the Atlanta Falcons’ kicker before signing with the Giants in 2025. The veteran struggled during his brief stint with Big Blue, going 6-for-9 on field goals and 13-for-14 on extra points across his time with both the Falcons and Giants last season.

Koo's time with the Giants is highlighted by a humiliating field goal blunder that coincidentally saved a man's life.

A talented veteran and former Pro Bowler, Koo earned that honor with the Falcons in 2020. He will look to rebound in 2026 after an underwhelming 2025 campaign and could quickly earn the Jets’ starting kicker job.

The Jets currently have kickers Cade York and Lenny Krieg on the roster. Koo will now compete for a spot throughout training camp this summer.
