Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard has been named a WNBA All-Star for the fourth time in her five seasons in the league.
The former Wildcat standout is averaging 18.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.5 steals this season, while ranking second in the WNBA with 3.4 3-pointers made per game.
Howard set a league record this season when she became the fastest player to 400 3-pointers, reaching the mark in 147 games and passing Sabrina Ionescu, who did it in 151.
Howard will be in Chicago for the All-Star weekend, joined by teammates Angel Reese and Allisha Gray. It's the fifth time in franchise history that the Dream have had three players selected as All-Stars. All three will come off the bench during the game.
Howard was drafted first overall out of Kentucky in 2022. She won WNBA Rookie of the Year and was named an All-Star during her first season in the league. The lone season in which Howard did not make the All-Star roster was 2024.
During her time at Kentucky, Howard was named a three-time First-Team All-American and two-time SEC Player of the Year.
