Everton are showing strong interest in signing Arsenal defender Ben White ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Hand of Arsenal. The Gunners account and insider is famous for breaking some major news about Mikel Arteta’s side and the latest updates around the Emirates Stadium club. They are followed by the likes of Dharmesh Sheth, Charles Watts, Miguel Delaney, Fabrizio Romano and Sami Mokbel on X and have proven to be a trusted source concerning all things Arsenal. Hand of Arsenal have now claimed this morning that while other clubs have made enquiries for White, it is the Toffees who are leading the race as of today.
Everton manager David Moyes is keen to strengthen at the back at the Hill Dickinson Stadium club, and the versatile Gunners star fits the bill. While White is primarily a right-back, the 28-year-old can also play as a centre-back and defensive midfielder. The Toffees could do with his quality and experience and Arsenal are already looking for a replacement in his position.
The Gunners have been linked with interest in Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento and his Bournemouth counterpart Alex Jiminez, and White is set to have options to move on having lost his place in the Arsenal starting XI in recent seasons.
A move to Everton could appeal to the England international and qualifying for Europe could help boost their chances.
