It's been an eventful month for the defending national champions in Ann Arbor. Michigan was prepared to lose Morez Johnson Jr., Yaxel Lendeborg and Aday Mara to the NBA, but Dusty May's departure came as a bit of a surprise.
May's exit means that the transfer portal will eventually open for Wolverines players, but rising senior guard Elliot Cadeau doesn't appear to be someone who will jump ship.
The Final Four's Most Outstanding Player released a social media post indicating that he isn't going anywhere and is looking forward to defending Michigan's title during the 2026-2027 campaign.
Cadeau's agent also confirmed his client's planned return to Ann Arbor with ESPN.
Cadeau spent the first two seasons of his college career at North Carolina before transferring to Michigan ahead of the 2025-2026 campaign.
He scored 19 points in the title game against Connecticut and had 10 assists in the Final Four matchup against Arizona.
