The Miami Dolphins have NFL Draft needs at cornerback, guard, and defensive tackle.

Dolphins general manager Chris Grier and coach Mike McDaniel have 10 picks to work with and may also look to select a tight end, safety quarterback and defensive end.

Miami has the 13th pick in the next NFL Draft.

In that draft slot in 2016 and 2019, Miami hit on offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and defensive tackle Christian Wilkins.

Our Joe Schad has already produced six mock drafts. His picks have been:

Mock 1.0: Texas T/G Kelvin Banks

Mock 2.0: Penn State TE Tyler Warren

Mock 3.0: Alabama G Tyler Booker

Mock 4.0: Missouri T/G Armand Membou

Mock 5.0: Michigan CB Will Johnson

Mock 6.0: Michigan CB Will Johnson

The 2025 NFL Draft will be held Thursday, April 24 through Saturday April 26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and 51 percent of Miami Dolphins fans now say say they want a guard, with 36 percent wanting a cornerback in the first round.

Here is Joe Schad's look at how the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft could go. Miami picks 1-13, 2-48, 3-98, 4-116 and 4-135.

Who will Dolphins draft in first round?

Dolphins mock draft, Rounds 1-4

Round 1, Pick 13: CB Jahdae Barron, Texas

In the mock draft we conducted online, there was a tough choice between Texas teammates Barron and tackle/guard Kelvin Banks. We'll go with the cornerback because of Miami's dire need, and hope a solid guard is available in Round 2 or 3. In this draft, offensive linemen Will Campbell and Armand Membou and cornerback Will Johnson were all gone. This is certainly a viable scenario. The revelation that Miami will trade Jalen Ramsey after releasing Kendall Fuller push us toward Barron, who will start immediately.

Round 2, Pick 48: DT Kenneth Grant, Michigan

The choice between defensive tackle Grant and guard Jonah Savaiinaea of Arizona was a tough one. But Grant sliding to 48 is fairly miraculous, and with only four defensive lineman on the entire roster, the Dolphins have little to no choice but to go for the massive man with dancing bear feet. Grant's presence would help trench stud Zach Sieler, who needs a running mate. Grant compared himself to standouts Dexter Lawrence of the Giants and Vita Vea of the Buccaneers. Grant played last season at 6-foot-3, 342 pounds, though he's slimmed down to 332.

Round 3, Pick 98: DT Joshua Farmer, FSU

We are sort of regretting not going with guard Jonah Savaiinaea of Arizona in Round 2 because there are a few solid defensive tackles on the board in Round 3 and far fewer third-round-worthy guards. If we could go back we would take the guard in Round 2 and perhaps this is something Miami must strongly consider. But this is not a terrible outcome. The possibility of Miami going with a front seven of Zach Sieler-Kenneth Grant-Joshua Farmer and two of Jaelan Phillips/Bradley Chubb/Chop Robinson is really darn intriguing. Double-dipping at defensive tackle makes sense for us here.

Round 4, Pick 116: CB Cobee Bryant, Kansas

We don't love the players available at need positions guard and safety, so we're double-dipping again, this time at cornerback. If the Dolphins move on from Ramsey, as expected, then Bryant and Cam Smith can compete to start opposite Jahdae Barron in this scenario. Teams can never have enough cornerbacks and Miami does not have enough. Bryant, 6-foot-180 pounds, is a tough, competitive ball hawk with 13 college interceptions. And, yes, Cobee was named after Kobe Bryant. Cobee said his parents wanted him to have a "big dawg" mentality.

Round 4, Pick 135: G/T Jalen Rivers, Miami

Rivers is more of a developmental upside pick than an immediate starter, so, in retrospect we're going to strongly consider Miami select an offensive lineman earlier than pick 135. To be honest, what we would like to see is Chris Grier add a pick in Rounds 2 or 3 so Miami can land the extra guard/cornerbacks/defensive tackle to better survive 2025. That said, Rivers is a massive - 6-foot-6, 319-pound - former tackle who may be able to overpower some people with refined techniques from offensive line coach Butch Barry.
