I thought so if he keeps playing it's a win win type contract IMO
Should leave about $37.5
Structure will say a lot about what the plan for 2020 is. Good for DJ — hell re-enter free agency under 30.
Needed to do this. IMO Cards won't be drafting an OT at # 8. It will be DL or WR.
Also good for us IMO pay early dont get stuck with a David Johnson contract later
So after we sign the rookies we will have under 30m. That is not very much to improve the defense.

Depends if we restructure other deals i.e p21
I’d still like to see them draft Wirfs at 8.
He would have got that if he made it to free agency. Now we get to see if he actually earns it by playing the games.
It looks like the Cardinals will address a different need than the offensive line in the first round.
Maybe a defensive tackle or a wide receiver.
This is a good deal for both sides IMO.
But how can this be?
BritCard, the purchasing agent, said that if the Cards offered $11m initially it meant they'd pay $13m, no more.
This is fine. No issue with it. 3 years is a good number for DJ
We'll probably go the BPA route rather than draft to fill a specific need.
At least signing Humphies allows them to go BPA. I can't say I'm excited about drafting a wide receiver at #8.
