TYRONE (WTAJ) — Forest Hills used a 23-1 run in the second half Wednesday night, rallying back to beat Tyrone 59-52 in the 4A girls semifinals.
The Rangers fell into a 10-point hole, down 41-31 late in the third quarter before ripping off 25 of the game’s next 25 points.
Transition offense kept the Golden Eagles’ on its heels as Aivah Maul, Morgan Gdula and Addison Lashinsky gashed the defense.
With the win, Forest Hills advances to the District VI, 4A championship to play Penn Cambria Monday.
