The Detroit Lions announced a Thursday roster move, signing undrafted rookie wide receiver Kyre Duplessis to its 90-man roster.

A 5-foot-11, 190-pound receiver, Duplessis caught 60 passes for 824 yards and five touchdowns last season with the Delaware Blue Hens. Prior to Delaware, Duplessis played three seasons for Coastal Carolina where he caught 23 passes for 348 yards and a touchdown.

The signing comes on the same day that Lions head coach Dan Campbell revealed that rookie fifth-round pick Kendrick Law suffered a season-ending ACL tear. Law, a rookie wide receiver out of Kentucky, was a dynamic special teams playmaker.

During his collegiate career, Law returned 32 kickoffs for 710 yards (22.9 average). Law's 23.8 yards per kickoff return average ranked fourth in the SEC last year.

Duplessis doesn't boast that same special teams track record, though he did return three punts for 73 yards and a touchdown last season with the Blue Hens. The Woodbridge, Va., native also returned a pair of kickoffs for 33 yards at Delaware in 2025.
