The Detroit Lions announced a pair of roster moves on Friday morning, signing veteran defensive tackle Ben Stille and waiving cornerback De'Shawn Rucker with an injury designation.
Stille has appeared in 18 games and started one over the course of his NFL career. The 6-foot-4, 296-pound defensive lineman has totaled 17 tackles, three quarterback hits, two sacks, one pass defended and one fumble recovery.
An undrafted free agent out of Nebraska, Stille initially signed with the Miami Dolphins in May of 2022. In addition to Miami, Stille has spent time in the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons' organizations.
Rucker left the Lions' Thursday practice with an ankle injury. Lions defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo also left Thursday's practice with a groin injury.
