I'll see it if I hear good things from trusted people. I'm making no value judgments saying it IS bad; I think it looks bad. And why would I pay...a lot, these days...to go see a movie I think looks like it will be bad? Last time I did that I saw the truly putrid Gladiator II, hoping it would at least be good corny sword and sandal fun. It wasn't. The shrugging and "I'll go see it anyway" attitude is keeping a lot of bad movies/directors/writers/franchises afloat. I'm not one of them.
I get why you do so, for your craft and because it's your industry.
