Dunn has left 7 runners on base with 0 rbi's so far as a Diamondback. Hopefully he can produce soon.

im sorry if im a downer today, but why is slaten considered to be so good?
Slaten got out of the mess he got himself into unscathed, good pitchers do that. Although he did that, he's average, at best, we all know it. Every blind squirrel finds an acorn sometimes.

And nary a hard-hit ball (I think he did hit a hard foul last night) and watches too many primo mistake pitches go by. But the price - as far as we know right now - wasn't too steep. The jury is out for another week IMO.

Tough loss. Fighting to get back in the game twice was encouraging. Looking forward to tomorrow's game.

The Phillies suck as they blow a big lead and lose on a walk-off homer by Nomar. The Diamondbacks are now tied for first place.

the pitching matchup for getaway day was changed, for both teams, instead of what was expected a few days ago, expect...

Thursday - Haren vs. Rusch

Haren is coming off his worst game since being traded to Arizona. He really must buckle down with his team tied for first place. The first inning has been an issue lately for Haren. When you're trying to get your ERA back in the 2's, Coors Field is probably the last place you want to pitch at. Haren allowed one run in six innings when he beat Colorado at home in his third start with the D-backs. Rusch has one victory over Arizona this year as a Padre, when he pitched four shutout relief innings in a 13-inning nightmare at Petco Park. Back in May, Rusch refused a demotion by San Diego and became a free agent. He signed a minor-league deal with Colorado, was called up, sent down and finally called up on July 5. Since then, he is 4-1 with an ERA of 4.62.

Burke, BTW, ranked 4th on the all-time Dback "Most at-bats without a HR" list, having trailed only Brandon Webb, Curt Schilling, and Andy Stankiewicz.

I was never so bummed about a 2-run single.
Burke has more HRs as a D-back than Dunn does.

LMAO!!

First two RBI's for Dunn as a Dback, the 129th Dback to record an RBI.

IF Dunn goes another 150 plate appearances with no RBI's, then we'll invoke the ghost of Burke :D

I'm at work and have been following the game via the ticker. I was stunned when it said Burke homered. Was it a Coors Field homer or a legit homer? Nice to see Dunn get those rbi's. Maybe he will get on a roll and the offense will produce more.
