Actual dates for the Cowboys' annual training camp trip to Oxnard, Calif. have yet to be determined, but the team's summer stay on the West Coast is already filling up with commitments.

The Cowboys will participate in a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Brian Schottenheimer announced in a press conference Thursday. That practice, with a date still to be revealed, will take place at the Rams' facility in Woodland Hills, about 45 minutes away from the Cowboys' camp location.

The two clubs held a joint session last summer, too, just days before they squared off in a preseason game. But this year's practice should provide Dallas their first glimpse at edge rusher Myles Garrett wearing royal and sol since being traded to the Rams.

And that makes it a critical sneak peak ahead of the regular season, when the Cowboys and Rams are set to meet again at SoFi Stadium in Week 15.

Brian Schottenheimer said the Cowboys will have joint practices against the Rams and Saints while in California for training camp. The practice vs. the Rams is scheduled to be at their facility, not Oxnard.

The Cowboys are also planning to work out alongside the New Orleans Saints in advance of their preseason finale at AT&T Stadium on Aug. 28. That joint practice session will reportedly be hosted by the Cowboys and mark Saints head coach Kellen Moore's first return to Oxnard since leaving the Cowboys staff at the end of the 2022 season.
