The Dallas Cowboys hold their second training camp practice out in Oxnard, California. We open these discussion threads for every practice so that the Blogging The Boys community will have a place to congregate and discuss what is going on out at practice.

Unfortunately, dropping a Twitter List into this page no longer functions the way that it used to due to changes that the platform has made. We do have a list we recommend if you want to follow it in another tab. You can access it right here.

In order to keep the flow of things as smooth as possible though we’ll be dropping in updates and news items in this thread. Give us your take on them in the comments.

Schotty PC notes…

Brian Schottenheimer said rookie Drew Shelton is a potential swing tackle for them. He worked at RT yesterday. Schottenheimer said he was impressed with how the rookie fourth round pick played.

Interesting note from Brian Schottenheimer: Christian Parker acted like the communication system went out during a play Wednesday to see how DeMarvion Overshown would react. Schottenheimer said Overshown got the defense into the exact right call.

PJ Locke won’t practice today after he hyperextended his knee, but Brian Schottenheimer said he isn’t concerned.
