Hello good people,

Thought this could be of interest in this forum (finance related). I just made my first app for Android that counts your salary in real-time. "Time is money", they say, well, with this app you will see exactly how much.

You enter your monthly salary and working hours (works best for people working regular hours), and it calculates exactly how much you earn in real-time, counting per day, week, and month.

Say you are at work. You pull up the app and you can see money coming in with nice animations.

The app is totally safe. No data leaves your phone and it requires no permissions. It contains standard ads through Google's ad platform.

Give it a try, and feel free to give me some feedback.

Hope you like it!

Just wondering if anyone has tried to install it. Is it visible in the Google App Store for those of you in the U.S.? I have some users in Norway and Sweden so far, but that's it.

My experience so far is I'm not quitting my day job. It was sort of fun and time consuming to build and deploy it, but for a passive income you really need a lot of users on mobile apps.

Hi, hope everyone's having a nice weekend. I updated the app this week. It now has decimals so it will be more entertaining to use, in the sense that you can see the numbers go up in real-time.

I also added a budget tab that splits your salary in needs, wants and savings. Hopefully it will give even more insight into your personal finance.

The app is 100 % free and does not require access to any data at all. It does not contact any server or anything.

seems like an interesting gadget app.

how far in the negative will it go?
Im just curious because it seems like I make less and less money as the years go by,...while the prices of everything continue to rise...so at this point I am pretty sure I am losing about $150 a day just to continue existing

Thanks for trying it out.

By the way, how usual is it with multiple pay days for a job in the US?

Compared to expenses I also make less now than some years ago. The app only counts your compensation and you should not take any jobs where you end up paying your employer haha.
