July is quickly coming to an end and the school year is approaching. While I enjoy my summers and the lack of schedule, I am ready to be back into a routine and for Nebraska volleyball and football to start back up.

I love the little glimpses of volleyball that we get through August, including some really exciting match ups in Texas and Vegas.

And even though sometimes it seems to lead to more frustration as the season is underway, I do enjoy the hype and build up that fall camp brings to Husker football.

The Husker men’s basketball team is coming to central Nebraska this fall, as Nebraska will take on Kansas State in Grand Island. The matchup between the Huskers and Wildcats, presented by Pinnacle Bank, takes place on Monday, Oct. 26 at the BigIron Events Center.
