INDIANAPOLIS — Jonathan Taylor’s faith has been rewarded.
Taylor has agreed to terms on a two-year, $44 million extension that keeps him with the Indianapolis Colts through the 2028 season, a league source confirmed to IndyStar on Thursday morning.
The deal represents something of a departure for a Colts franchise that decided to let players like Marshall Faulk and Edgerrin James leave before they reached the end of their careers. Taylor, a second-round pick out of Wisconsin in 2020, has rushed for 7,598 yards and scored 76 total touchdowns in his six NFL seasons.
