A decades-long wait for a national championship will end for North Carolina or Oklahoma this weekend.

The Tar Heels and Sooners face off in the best-of-three College World Series finals with No. 5 seed UNC seeking its first title and unseeded Oklahoma trying to win it all in Omaha for the first time since 1994.

Both teams are on brilliant runs, unbeaten in the CWS and nearly perfect in NCAA play overall. The Tar Heels dropped the opening game to USC in the super regional and have been perfect since, while the Sooners' last defeat came on May 30 at Georgia Tech in the regional.

The finalists also have combined steady pitching with the ability to score in bunches as they have rolled into the final. The heart of UNC's order, Owen Hull and Gavin Gallaher, went a combined 8 for 10 with six RBIs in the bracket final against West Virginia, while freshman Caden Glauber was brilliant in relief once again. The Tar Heels are 28-0 when he pitches.

Oklahoma bludgeoned Georgia to reach the finals behind yet another multi-hit game from shortstop Jaxon Willits, who is 7 for 13 in Omaha. The Sooners will hope to keep riding their hot bats and stellar freshman pitchers Cord Rager, Xander Mercurius and Nick Wesloski all the way to a national championship.

Who will take home the trophy? Here's all you need to know to watch every game.
