For a while there it seemed like a surprising win was incoming... but we're not going to beat a team like the Clippers if everyone but Okogie has a bad night on offense.

Hope Okogie can keep it up, especially if he ends up as the 6th man instead of starting, Ross looks spry.

Once Durant comes back I don't think TJ Warren is a rotation player. He doesn't rebound, defend or pass, he does dribble a lot. He is the antithesis of our ".5 offense".

You guys can blame me. First game actively watched in a minute and my two least favorite players (Ayton and Booker) look lost all game...

My bad.

Booker is not back to himself after being out.

With Ayton you have to pick your nights. Might need to make a reservation.

Ayton , Paul and Booker looked insane last game and then all 3 were downright bad this game

Paul 5 points on 2/8?

Terrance Mann really played well for the Clippers on both offense and defense.

Paul was really off. James Jones mentioned that Booker was not fully back.

Ayton gets moved out of rebounding position too easily.

Booker is back he just had a bad game. Look at the very start of the game and this thread. He was just out of it really bad passes and shots. Him just getting the ball ripped from him just shows he wasn’t paying attention.

Book looked outta sorts in every way possible. Poor effort defensively, terribke spacing, no explosion, terrible handles, and his shot was erratic at best.

It's a playoff type of game with defense played by both teams. They had better and more go-to players in PG and KL than we did with Book who was not yet fully back. Eric Gordon and Mann played great for them, as well as their center duo of Zubac and Plumlee. They plainly overpowered us in size. Also, Book and Ross tried too much iso type plays that stagnated the off. movements a lot, with less than enough success rate. Ross proved he can score, we just need to integrate him better in the flow.

All in all, this is the type of games we lost to Mavs in last year's playoff series. The loss is a good reminder of what we lack and need improvement on.

It seems Damion's 3pt touch is back. Saben is strong at both D and O, actully capable of playing more min. in place of Paul for better team D. Craig is a negative on O but not good enough on D to compensate for it. It may be good strategy to start Ross in place of Okogie. Make Ross mainly shoot open 3pt with the starters, as created by KD, Book and Paul. Make Okogie the 6th man with energy and all his stuffs. Have Craig, Damion, Warren, Saben, Landale/Biz ready for situational sub in.

Had we not traded away our young stars for old players we cpuld have easily won this game. Mikal and Cam would have given us enough to win.

Just kidding guys. Tougb game but you can’t win them all. Lets see how we look when everyone is back.

Yup. All it took was my acknowledging he was coming of age. Then pffffftttt. Predictable.
haha I was thinking about your post as I watched the game.

His stats again don't tell the whole story. He was horrible all game. He's like a ghost on defense.

I rarely discuss DA anymore b/c it’s too frustrating but his 2nd half was abysmal. It really affected the equity he’s built up the last few weeks for me. He really needs to bring playoff intensity on defense and the boards when the game calls for it. It comes down to effort and concentration when he has the talent advantage matchup.

***not letting other players off the hook for their performance but DA was most frustrating***
