Clemsonfootball heads into one of the biggest recruiting announcements of its 2027 cycle with momentum continuing to build.
Four-star safety Jayden Aparicio-Bailey is set to announce his commitment today, with Clemson and Georgia emerging as the two finalists for the Alabama standout. Just hours before his decision, another Crystal Ball prediction was submitted in favor of the Tigers, further strengthening the belief that Dabo Swinney and his staff are in position to land one of the nation’s top defensive backs.
Aparicio-Bailey, who stars at Prattville High School, has been a priority target for Clemson throughout the recruiting process. At 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, he brings an ideal combination of size, physicality and athleticism, earning recognition as one of the top safeties in the 2027 class. Landing a player with his talent would give the Tigers another cornerstone piece for a defense that continues to attract highly regarded prospects.
