Clemson has received a crystal ball prediction for four-star defensive back Jayden Aparicio-Bailey, who is set to announce his commitment tomorrow between Clemson and Georgia. The blue-chip safety out of Prattville, Alabama, has been one of the more important defensive targets on Clemson’s board, and the latest movement suggests the Tigers may be in a strong position entering decision day.
Aparicio-Bailey is a 6'2, 195-pound defensive back and is rated as one of the top safety prospects in the 2027 class.
The Clemson-Georgia battle makes this one even more interesting. Georgia has been one of the toughest programs in the country to beat for high-end defensive talent for the last four years, so winning this recruitment would be more than just adding another four-star. It would be another win over an elite recruiter like Kirby Smart, who has signed the most 5-star recruits in the last decade.
If Clemson lands Aparicio-Bailey, the Tigers would likely move back into the top 10 nationally for the 2027 class. That would give Dabo Swinney’s staff another momentum-shifting recruitment during a stretch where Clemson has continued to build out its defensive group.
