On the 'Chiefs Wire Podcast Interview Series', we showcase new players, celebrities, and prominent NFL players with unique takes and stories about the Kansas City Chiefs.
Watch as Senior Writer Ed Easton Jr. speaks with retired All-Pro NFL quarterback Jeff Garcia. He recalled his experience playing under then-Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid and the most memorable game of his career.
"Coach (Andy) Reid just had a cool, calm style about him. He was never like that roller coaster ride of emotion, very intelligent," said Garcia. "Marty Mornhinweg was the offensive coordinator when I was there (in Philadelphia). I had already had him in San Francisco before my first couple of years there, so there was familiarity in the offense already, but there was definitely learning and growing in the sense of how they (Philadelphia Eagles) attacked down the field."
Garcia is a four-time CFL All-Star and four-time NFL Pro Bowl selection. He began his professional football career with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL as an undrafted free agent in 1994. In 1999, Garcia debuted in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers.
