On the 'Chiefs Wire Podcast Interview Series', we showcase new players, celebrities, and prominent NFL players with unique takes and stories about the Kansas City Chiefs.
Listen as Senior Writer Ed Easton Jr. speaks with retired New England Patriots legend Julian Edelman. He shared his thoughts on the NFL offseason free agency movement and his former wide receivers coach, Chad O'Shea, joining Kansas City's coaching staff.
"Tells you whether the Chiefs are going to go for (Jeremiyah) Love? Are they not? Probably not," said Edelman, "They didn't think they could get him." So what do they do? They get Kenneth Walker III and develop the team's design. (The Chiefs) Are they going to go more to a running-style offense because Patrick Mahomes is coming off that knee injury? I think it's been so fun to watch, and I can't wait to see what this draft is. A lot of great football players."
Edelman ranks third in postseason receiving yards and receptions; he currently holds Super Bowl records for punt returns and first-half receptions in a single game.
