The offseason is winding down, with training camp quickly approaching, and multiple Kansas City Chiefs players are already being recognized for their impressive resumes.

Three Chiefs players landed in CBS Sports' annual 'Top 100 Players of 2026' rankings written by Pete Prisco last week. Patrick Mahomes, Creed Humphrey and Chris Jones are representing the Chiefs franchise in this year's offseason list.

Mahomes checks in at No. 7 after having his 2025 season cut short due to the serious knee injury he suffered in Week 15. He finished the year passing for 3,587 yards and 22 touchdowns in 14 games. The two-time league MVP earned the top spot on last year's CBS Sports list.

Humphrey was listed at No. 23 after having another standout season, arguably the league's best center. A Pro Bowler for a fourth consecutive season, Humphrey earned another first-team All-Pro selection last season. He also earned successive selections to the PFWA All-NFL team from 2021-25. He was also nominated for the first-ever Protector of the Year Award at NFL Honors.

Jones rounds out the Chiefs players' portion at No. 62. Last season, he tallied 29 total tackles, 7 sacks, and 32 quarterback pressures. He was named to his seventh consecutive Pro Bowl as one of the few standout presences in a disappointing team season. The multiple-time first- or second-team All-Pro missed being named to either list for the first time since 2019.
