2 Steelers make CBS Sports' top 100 NFL players of 2026

In CBS Sports' top 100 NFL players of 2026, the Pittsburgh Steelers were represented by two veterans — including one who almost tumbled off the list entirely.

According to CBS Sports' Pete Prisco, Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and outside linebacker T.J. Watt are among the NFL's top 100 players for 2026.

Heyward, who was ranked as the No. 37 player in 2025, dropped two spots to No. 39.

Watt almost cracked the top 10 in 2025 with an impressive No. 11 ranking, but his dreadful performance last season caused him to slide all the way to No. 88 for 2026.

There's an argument to be made that several other Steelers deserved to be recognized on Prisco's top 100 list, such as cornerback Joey Porter Jr., center Zach Frazier, and running back Jaylen Warren. But that should change when these new-look Steelers, led by Mike McCarthy, take the field in a few months.
