A pair of former Denver Broncos tight ends recently hit free agency.

Last week, the Los Angeles Chargers released international tight end Thomas Yassmin, clearing the way for the team to add offensive lineman Laekin Vakalahi, who is now L.A.'s designated international player (New Zealand).

Yassmin, a 26-year-old Australian tight end, entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Utah with the Broncos in 2024. After spending his rookie season on Denver's practice squad, Yassmin was cut last summer and landed with the Chargers, spending last fall on L.A.'s practice squad.

Elsewhere on the ex-Broncos tight end front, the Cleveland Browns waived Caden Prieskorn on Tuesday (he cleared waivers on Wednesday, making him a free agent). Prieskorn, 26, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss last year. After a brief spring stint with the Detroit Lions, Prieskorn went to training camp with Denver last summer. He was cut after preseason and landed on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad.

After being cut by the Bucs in October, Prieskorn landed on Cleveland's practice squad. He will now seek his fifth NFL team after being cut yet again.
