I have a friend that continues to pep me up by reminding me how crappy Embiid was his first couple of years.

This just doesn't feel like that did IMO. Ayton is a mess in so many unteachable categories.

Embiid wasn’t crappy his first couple years. He was injured. But even in limited stints he WOWED. His first year that he actually played, with only 31 games he averaged 20 ppg, 8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. By year 2, he was at 23/11/1.8.

and even more than that the Sixers actually showed MAJOR improvement on the court with wins because of him.
