The Boston Celtics are reportedly taking calls on Jaylen Brown, but Jayson Tatum seems unbothered by all of the outside noise.
Tatum is in France for Cannes Sports Beach, along with plenty of other athletes and celebrities, including Brown. Brown appeared on the main stage on Monday and made headlines for blasting ESPN and Stephen A. Smith. Tatum appeared on the main stage on Thursday. Brown's name came up plenty in trade rumors for Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the Cletics reportedly offered Brown and two first-round picks for the two-time MVP.
Now, Brown's name is coming up in all kinds of rumors as the Celtics reportedly listen to offers on the 2024 Finals MVP. Tatum is not going anywhere and is the face of the franchise. He was seen partying with Draymond Green in Paris while his team entertains trading his running mate.
After an injury kept Tatum out of Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers, he seems to be enjoying his offseason. It's unclear what the Celtics roster will look like next season if Brown is dealt, but one thing is clear: another first-round exit is unacceptable.
Tatum should be healthy to start the season, and if the Celtics keep Brown, they know the two are capable of doing great things.
