Ok, I am one of the village idiots who wanted to have Brissett as our QB this season as a bridge to whatever but no matter how much we may argue (and don't attempt to argue with me about #7, since the biggest fool is one who argues with a fool), at least I don't have to hear Mitch construct delusional narratives as fact. Was scrolling through my Youtube feed and lo and behold there is the Red Rain report and Mitch claims the reason why the Cards have him as QB 1 is because the players decided on it. Yup, the players made a bold stand and Monti and crew bowed to their wishes. Yeah

no...walter Mitchell...former poster here who made a career out of stealing other peoples ideas as his own or plain old outright fabricating scenarios to explain why the Team did things a certain way..
but, I gotta say...the guy was a good writer.his prose was on point...one would expect that since he is a teacher...but still,...odd to see well written stuff on the internet...even bull crap

I actually think that the majority of NFL coaches would prefer Minshew over Justin Fields as their backup QB. You don't want either as your starter, but to me Minshew is the better backup.

The Chiefs would rather have Justin Fields as a backup than Minshew.
Great signing!!!!!

In a similar number of starts (Minshew: 47, Fields 53), Minshew has a higher passer rating (88.0 vs. 84.7) and QBR (44.6 vs. 31.4).

Edit to add: The Chiefs are only paying Fields $3M this season, as the Jets paid the rest of his salary.

"The reason this (offense) does so well is it thrives off complementary looks and simplicity with the illusion of complexity through motions and similar formations,” Minshew said. “We really don’t do a ton off each look, but just enough to put a seed of doubt."

Ah, Dude! Have you and the Stasch been hanging out? That's exactly what I looked like an hour after that gummy the wife gave me....mouth open, eyes half shut. If he was watching Mystery Science Theater, he'd be laughing his arse off

my favorite vehicles had beds in them - a bus - a truck with a camper and a really nice old chevy van - you don't just visit places you get to post up

minshew isn't dumb - he knows jacoby is the starter rn - but he isn't stupid either - brissett better get his ass to camp lol
