Other than Paris, McBride, and Marvin(based on potential not production so far), is there another player on the offensive side of the ball who would start for another NFL team?

Wilson has a shot but this offense is pretty talent deficient.

At least Monti went all defense in the draft. He's a genius.

Wilson is legit good. He might be better than Harrison. One of Kyler's great failures is not unlocking him.

Monti decided drafting a LT was solving the offensive line

I think Marv would start for a lot of teams that have an established #1 wide receiver.

Said it in the game thread, Wilson is better than Marv. He shouldn't be, he might not always be, but right now he's just better. 25 catches in the last 2 games, 303 yards. he's not getting TD's but he's open. Marvs last game was similar due to injuries we basically had 3 viable guys, Trey, Wilson and Marv, 12 targets 3 catches.

I honestly think we should try and trade Marv. Now if we change OC's and change the offense, then yeah keep Marv. But in THIS offense, Wilson is better at WR1 than Marv is.

Marv still has enough value he can probably bring us a 1 and another pick, they should consider it. Sign WanDale Robinson as FA, draft a RT a guard, an ILB, try and sign a guard in FA. That would help strengthen most of the holes. The problem is I don't think we're going to get our QB in this draft so pick everyone else around that.

There was an interesting anecdote on the telecast today. Wilson said Brissett sends him videos of other WRs running routes and Brissett is basically coaching him up via these videos. Wilson then says nobody has ever told him these things…or something to that effect.

This is deranged. This is like saying Kyler could fetch two firsts.

Eagles gave a 1 and 3 for Aj Brown just a few years ago coming off his 3rd year 63 catches 5 TD's. The perception of Kyler is nowhere near as high right now as it is for Marv. Everyone thinks our offense is holding Marv back, but unless we change the offense there's no guarantee he'll be much better next year

Benson is trash man.

He has to prove he can stay healthy but he and DeMercado are the only guys on the roster who belong in an NFL backfield. Knight 53 carries longest run 17 yards 3.5 YPC.he's been pretty good near the goalline. Carter longest run is 11 yards 2.7 YPC.

Benson 5.5 YPC more long runs. DeMercado 7.8 YPC. We have 6 "big" runs as a team this year, 2 each by Benson, DeMercado and Murray.

The rest of the season is huge for both Benson and DeMercado. Unless Conner unexpectedly comes back next year they are the likely RB1 and RB2 but they both have to prove they can stay healthy and be the regular guy. I would say it's more important for Benson he HAS to prove he can be counted on for 15-20 touches a game

Yes but he’d already had 2 1000+ yard receiving seasons and shown he could be a #1 for a playoff team. Meanwhile the NFL laughed at that trade as soon as it happened and the coach and GM were fired shortly thereafter.

Find a better story.

That's because the Titans picked Burks. if we trade Marv we're likely not going to pick a Wr we're going to pick an OL, and I'm not advocating the 19th pick someone picking earlier. The Titans couldn't get Brown to sign a new deal so they traded him, they just picked a terrible guy in Burks. If they had the same goal we did, they could have had Tyler Smith 24th pick, they could have had Linderbaum 25th pick, hell they could have had McDuffie if you go BPA.

So you went from they won't get 2 picks for Marv to well that got the GM fired. He got fired because they couldn't sign Brown and did a bad job drafting his replacement. We're not drafting Marvs' replacement we're using Marv to fill other needs.

My story works just fine if you make the right picks.

The offense we run is clearly not working for Marv

Harrison has more talent and upside, however Wilson is clearly a better NFL WR1 right now. Way better hands and is in the right spot more consistently. Knows how to use his big body way more effectively than MHJ.

Pretty egregious a 3rd rounder out of Stanford is out performing the #4 overall pick out of OSU given the NFL pedigree and production of other guys coming out of that OSU program have had.

Not surprising. This coaching staff is garbage.

of the starting 11 -- five quality starting players. The ones you listed plus Froholdt and Mike Wilson.

Jacoby has been okay. Too many sacks and turnovers to win.
Agree, but again I point out this o-line is terrible and we can’t run the ball.
Brissett is going to play a role on this team next year. He will still be under contract.
Will he be a back up to a rookie?
Will he start and let the rookie sit and watch for a while?

Russ, we HAVE to get our QBOTF. We know you have to have a top 3 pick for a shot at what the “experts” call a blue chip qb.
Unless we lose out (which is possible) we might have to bite the bullet and trade up to get our qb.

Sure but to do that there has to be a QBOTF to get. Someone will be good but who is not at all obvious in this draft for QB.

Depends who comes out but there's no clear cut guy who will be in this draft.
