All is happy here in Cardinal land!!!!!!!!!

Now...Just get someone to pass rush. Holliday and Okefor!!! Get Suggs in the Draft and then I will be a very happy boy. I might just take Howdy Doody down and put him in the closet!!!!!

(Oh yes....NO HOLD OUTS!!!! I have to stay a little grumpy)

Bring back Kent Graham!!!!!!

Eliminated from the playoffs? You mean like some time AFTER the 8th week of the season.... As a Cards fan I have no idea what that would feel like...
But I think I'd be happy to find out next season. :D :D :D

Now the Boston loss hurts even more. Finally someone who could throw the deep ball to him effectively.

I am very pleased with this as I think other FA's will now give us an honest look now that we have a know NFL product. I will sleep better tonight. Seems the price was right also. Congratulation Graves you just pulled one of several daggers out of my heart. Now get the rest of them.

big signings today, and although i am upset about losing boston. We have to remember he only player well ONE season out of the 4 he played here... so losing him wont hurt us as much as we think.... Although i am sure he would make us alot better, we never really had him other than that one year...

I know its askin alot of the cards to sign more players but man if we could get Holliday AND/OR Okefor we would be a much improved team...

I agree. We don't need Smith...although I understand the allure of having a future HoF guy on the team who has rings. I want Shipp to be the man with no huge distractions and I still stand here backing Damein Anderson 100%. He is another guy who was forgotten who had success in college just like Shipp did.

Lets not forget Scobey either who was a helluva back in college! The kid looked great last year prior to injury looked better than everyone but Shipp IMO!

We dont need Emmitt!!

Maybe that's the way he is when facing adversity? You know how people get a nervous laugh at the wrong time?

I'd rather have a guy like Blake than a QB who consistently throws picks and then yells at his Wr's like it's their fault HE threw into double coverage or underthrew the ball.

Look at the numbers for your best WR playing with redman and then with Blake and tell me Travis Taylor didn't benefit from playing with Blake.

You are preaching to the chior...leaving Scobey out was an oversight but I think he can produce as well. While our RBs aren't Pro Bowl types necessarily, I think all can play the kind of power game the Cards seem to be looking for.

The problem with the Ravens' WR's is not the qb, but the numbskull offensive coordinator. They like to throw to their TE's alot. Todd Heap made Chris Redmond and Jeff Blake look good because Heap is a stud. Just look at all those high passes that Heap caught last year. No one else would have been able to catch those things.

On the brighter side of things, things look better for the Cards than they do for the Ravens, at least you guys wont be stuck with Kordell or Redman!! Emmitt on the other hand.... Stick with Shipp.

Well Taylor sure got a hell of a lot better after they benched Redman that's all I can say on the matter I am not a Raven fan so I don't follow them.

Blake throws a great deep ball and that showed in Taylor's stats.

I thought Billick was essentially their OC?

Billick leaves things to Cavanaugh who blows. Why throw on a 3 and 5 with less than two minutes left in the game when you are up?? That was a nice loss.

From when Blake signed with the Ravens...

What is it about you that brings the best out of young receivers?

I just enjoy throwing downfield to receivers. I like getting them the ball and giving them the opportunity to work. That is what they get paid to do, and I just like going out there and having fun with it. I try to inspire and encourage them. I let them know throughout the week that if they get open, I’m going to get the ball to them. So they say, ‘I have to work hard to get open and the ball will come my way
