Howard has a great connection with Big Red! Hmmmxc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
We haven't even interviewed Gannon. How can someone be hearing Gannon is the new head coach?xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
This is my question - though I’m sure there’s some back room negotiations. We haven't even interviewed Gannon. How can someone be hearing Gannon is the new head coach?
Why meltdown?Cueing board meltdown.... 3,2,1...
Drew Petzing...35. One year as QB coach, one as TE coach and 1 as WR. Started out as LB coach. On the Browns staff. Why meltdown?
Not me. If he wins today he would bring alot of credibility as HC to the Cards.Cueing board meltdown.... 3,2,1...
Talking about the OC choice. Not Gannon. Not me. If he wins today he would bring alot of credibility as HC to the Cards.
Here's what I don't like about Lou:Weird thing about Gannon is Eagles fans hated him until like two months ago. Doesnt mean much, but Bengals fans love Lou more than Eagles fans loved Gannon.
Brian Daboll - 22 years.Here's what I don't like about Lou:
He's been around the league for a long time...as a position coach. You'd think that if he was dynamic, he would have had multiple shots as a DC in the past.
You completely missed the point.Brian Daboll - 22 years.
I didn't miss your point. You completely missed the point.
Daboll was an OC numerous times before getting a HC look. Anarumo is also almost a decade older than Daboll.
Anarumo = Vince Tobin.
Well you offered evidence that bolstered my point.I didn't miss your point.
Lou has been in NFL since 2012. He was a college coach before that.Well you offered evidence that bolstered my point.
Anarumo is a first time DC a few years ago after two decades in the NFL.
Right...Lou has been in NFL since 2012. He was a college coach before that.
....which means multiple HCs thought he was worthy of leading an offense. Also looking at Dabolls background, he has a few OC stops that were just 1 year. Looks like he took a while to stick longer with a team, for whatever reason.
Looks like 5. 1 year in Miami and 4 in Cincinnati...so 5ish years in 10 NFL years. He hasn't been in NFL for 2 decades.Right...
How many years was he a DC?
Also means multiple HCs thought he was t good enough to keep.....which means multiple HCs thought he was worthy of leading an offense.
We aren't arguing. At least I am not. Some coaches take a long time to be HC.Well you offered evidence that bolstered my point.
Anarumo is a first time DC a few years ago after two decades in the NFL.
....as a position coach. Also means multiple HCs thought he was t good enough to keep.
The inescapable logic then is Davis would be a better HC than Anarumo.....as a position coach.
Bill Davis has had more opportunities as a coordinator.
