Ehh RBs that can perform in the league are a dime a dozen. He certainly doesn’t look like anything special.

Ehhhh ability is great but when you are about 7% below what a good kicker should be at does the distance really matter? I’d argue probably not.

I'm sure they are seeing the same issues we all saw with him from the end of last year and this preseason. They also knew what they were getting IMO. He's streaky.. like many kickers. I think they are just hoping, like we are, that being a veteran kicker he can put together a decent season and make those bombs that can swing a win or two in our favor. We'll see.
