That hit in the backfield that Vallejo (?) made we haven't seen Simmons do something like that against the run in weeks. He had a great play against Dallas causing a fumble from behind but he's just not good against the run.

Maybe a new DC will figure out how to get him to look better against the run for my money he just is bad agaisnt the run

True, but I’ve seen Zaven Collins play downhill and make hits in the backfield, while hicks’ first step is almost always backwards yet he’s in the game. I trust the coaching staff as much as I trust an ex
