If you watch Shanahan against this Rams’ defense, dink & dunk is what kills then & why Shanny has owned McVay & every Rams’ DC.
Like Kyler or not, this offense has at least operated like a professional NFL offense. Watching Colt go through his progressions alone makes the game worth watching.

Only took Kliff 4 years and a depleted Oline to learn that
Snaps under center. Progressions. Calm in the pocket. Stepping up.
Its nice watching good QB play again.

To be fair it takes a timing and rhythm quarterback to execute all offenses.

This game is hard to use as a teaching tool imo. One thing I think makes sense though, as a way of explaining how calm the offense seemed, is Colt must have a lot less options. Probably can't change the plays or has limited options, can't call out protections, etc. He's probably only reading one side of the field so there's less to process. I think all that plays into it.
