and how is progressing..he is showing something or he didnt emerge yet?

Dont know what you are expecting. But its hard to watch 80 guys. I know people request to watch certain guys etc.. But in the end you watch the main part of the action. Sometimes the drills are on opposite ends of the field. Its just impossiibe to watch everyone and give an opinion on them all. It just can't be done. From what I have seen from him so far he looks good.

Another beautiful day practice was held on the upper fields. Jim Dray was back at practice today.

Thanks again Shane!

Juza, it is really, really hard to follow everyone. When they practice indoors, the offense gets the east 40 and the D gets the West 40. When they are outdoors, the O gets the north field and the D gets the south.

Washington has neither been impressing or sucking at least as of last week.

One thing to remember is that it is really hard to tell who is going to be contributing once they get into full pads and go full steam.

At camp the quicker guys tend to stand out because of the way drills are run.

Wide receivers are much less likely to develop alligator arms or hear footsteps in camp as opposed to a game. Running backs won't dance in the backfield as much.

Things change once you're wearing that red and gold and you know ADub or 9-0 is bearing down on you full speed.

Totally different situation. I'll give the hall of famer who just took us to a super bowl a little longer leash.

Kurt wasnt consistently terrible in practice. He was mediocre at best in games.

Your very welcome!

shane, i know you can't be everywhere at once, but really . . . can you please start letting us know the hang time and distance of the punts? i'd also like to know how many are going out of bounds, and if you can break that down into "within the 20" "within the 10" and "within the 5" it would be really helpful. i'd like to know how the punters are progressing.

isnt there only one punter now? I am not even concerned with how punting is going after seeing several posts saying he still looks amazing. I thought Ben was the best punter you could ever ask for last year, itll come again this year.

it very well could be, i couldnt figure out why anyone would be worried after bens stellar season last year. During the punter limbo - this was a major concern. We no longer have a limbo. Ben for all pro!

I know you are being sarcastic, but I can partially answer this, which is kind of scary.

Ben has consistently punted in the 50-65 yard range. No stopwatch for hangtime, but they are high. Shane and I think that is part of the reason the rookie PRs are struggling is that they never had to deal with a punter this good.
