Call me crazy, but a win this week could bring 7-7 into the picture.

If we can somehow handle Jacksonville at home, the next 3 games are winnable. @ San Fran, a struggling Washington team at home, and Houston on the road with a lame duck coach. The biggest hurdle is this weekend.

Now the question is would you rather go 7-9 or 8-8 and miss the playoffs, or tank it and go 3-13 and enter the Leinert-Bush sweepstakes.

I'll take the wins and build on this season. Re-sign Warner, pick up Rivers or get a promising Q out of the draft, and get some help for the O-line for next season. Arrington is rounding into form, and the defense will be healthy again. Watch out next season.

Step up and sip some kool-aid over the holiday weekend, and dare to dream.

There is no question (atleast in my mind) that you would want the wins. I would take 7-9 or 8-8 and miss the playoffs every freakin' time rather than have a losing season and a high draft pick.

We have to beat JAX first, though. And that is going to be very tough. But yes, if we do some how pull out a win, it could be intreasting considering the run of teams we have left.

OK lets continue the dream. Philadelphia continues to falter without McNabb and Owens, the Colts lose and rest their top starters in week 16, Warner has a good game (remember this is a domed stadium where he excels) Cardinals pull the upset, are 9-7 and squeak into the playoffs.

Actually you make a good point, since IF (yes, a big if) they beat Jacksonville, theres no reason they cant beat the others, and the home/away schedule is the most favorable.

While SEA loses out and we win a home playoff game against the Falcons. Then we travel to Chicago and beat them. Finally the only thing stopping us from a SB beth is beating Dallas...in Dallas. We play a tough game and win 20-19 on a last secong 58 yarder from Rackers. We then lose in the Super Bowl 156-6. Awww....it ended bad. Go cry about it.

To make the playoffs we would have to win out the rest of the season.

Nov 27 Jacksonville
Dec 4 @San Francisco
Dec 11 Washington
Dec 18 @Houston
Dec 24 Philadelphia
Jan 1 @Indianapolis

The only 2 likely wins are SF and Houston. Washington is beatable but they are still a pretty good team. Philly looks more vulnerable than before and we're at home so I'll call that one a possible win. J-Ville is a playoff team this year and I don't think we win this week. Indy will probably rest their starters but it's a road game and they may pile up a good lead before sitting everyone. Yes, indvidually these are winnable games but not collectively. Winning 6 in a row is asking way to much. I'm guessing our final record will be 5-11.

If Indy's still undefeated they will play there starters. Going undefeated is a much bigger accomplishment then winning a Super Bowl. One team wins the SB every year. No teams go undefeated. What do think people in 30 years would look back on more? Although doing both would even be better.

If our o line wasn't so banged up, I'd give us a better chance to outscore JAX. But Wakefield at G? Is that really the best we can do?

Even assuming that we do lose this game, I think we might be able to get to 7-9.

I'd reserve my 06' seat on Denny's band wagon if we could win seven.

If we can win or atleast play determined the rest of the way I'll be all for it.
I would rather take the momentum into next season than risk another high priced draftee that might tank or get injured. These drafts are always a hit or a miss. Can never be sure.

If we can win a few games, show improvement maybe we can lure some FAs to sign in the off-season.

I disagree, the SB is the ultimate prize. Going undefeated in the regular season and losing the SB or worse yet, losing a starter playing Arizona and not making it at all would be a travesty.

On to us. I take the wins if we can somehow win out we do it. Let playoff berths play out how they will. At some point the 53 players we have right now need to learn to win. That will make it that much easier to slide a midround pick into the lineup and be more successful.

Actually, Inside the NFL already reported Indy will rest their starters regardless. Dungee said, "there are no rings for undefeated."

Still, if they're undefeated when we show up, they'll want it. But if Adrian is still killing quarterbacks, they might just have a care of Peyton.

if we win on sunday i think we'll possibly get to 8-8 or who knows, 9-7. but no way that's good enough for the playoffs. 10-6 minimum this year.

Sorry, but Indy's second and third string skill players are still probably better than what we'll be able to put on the field against them...M*A*S*H unit and all.

I'll take Fitz and Boldin over Stokely and...who?

I'd almost take Fitz and Boldin over Harrison and Wayne.
