NBA Summer League 2026 tips off July 3 in California and July 4 in Utah, but the main event starts July 9 in Las Vegas.

UNC basketball will have plenty of representation, including Chicago Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson and Atlanta Hawks rookie Henri Veesaar. A crowd of former Tar Heels who played for former coach Roy Williams or former coach Hubert Davis will try to put on a show in front of NBA executives for a two-week stretch on the West Coast.

HENRI'S HAWKS: What UNC basketball’s Henri Veesaar brings to Atlanta Hawks

Here’s a list of all the former UNC basketball players who will be in action during summer league and how to watch them.

RJ Davis, San Antonio Spurs

The second-leading scorer in UNC history, who had his No. 4 jersey unveiled in the Smith Center rafters last season, is going from the Los Angeles Lakers system to the San Antonio Spurs. A member of the NBA G-League All-Rookie Team with the Coachella Valley Lakers, Davis averaged 18.9 points, 4.9 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. He also knocked down 45.9% of his 3-point attempts.

Pete Nance, Milwaukee Bucks

Nance has three years of NBA experience since playing for the Tar Heels, starting his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers before going to Philadelphia and ending up in Milwaukee. Across 47 games with the Bucks last season, Nance averaged 5.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1 assist per game.

Drake Powell, Brooklyn Nets

Powell battled through knee and ankle injuries in his rookie season with the Nets, averaging 6.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in Brooklyn. The former first-round pick appeared in 63 games and played an average of just over 20 minutes per contest.

Cormac Ryan, Milwaukee Bucks

Ryan is the second Tar Heel suiting up for the Bucks in the summer league, joining Nance on the roster. The former UNC sharpshooter made the most of his 11 games last season, averaging 14.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 25 minutes. He made 45.8% of his shots from 3-point range.

Seth Trimble, Washington Wizards

The former Tar Heel captain will get his shot to show his two-way ability with the Wizards. With No. 1 pick AJ Dybantsa on the roster, Trimble will have plenty of opportunities in front of a national audience. The former UNC guard averaged 14 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game as a senior.

Henri Veesaar, Atlanta Hawks

According to multiple national reports, Veesaar signed a four-year, $9.3 million deal with the Hawks as the 52nd pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. After averaging 17 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in his lone season with the Tar Heels, the 7-footer will have a chance to show how he can help the Hawks on the interior and with his perimeter shooting.

Caleb Wilson, Chicago Bulls

According to Spotrac, Wilson is set to have a four-year deal worth $48.5 million as the No. 4 overall pick by the Bulls in the 2026 NBA Draft. After setting freshman records at UNC, Wilson will try to be a foundation piece in Chicago for a franchise that once was saved by a Tar Heel named Michael.
