Caitlin Clark has added another honor to her growing list of accolades in the WNBA. During the team’s practice on Tuesday, Stephanie White announced that she has named the superstar guard Eastern Conference Player of the Week. The Indiana Fever head coach clapped as she made the announcement, but Clark’s hilarious reaction drew the most attention online.

The three-time All-Star had a historic game on Friday. She recorded the first game in league history with 40-plus points and 10-plus assists. Clark finished Friday’s 110-107 win over the Seattle Storm by scoring 45 points, providing 10 assists, and making six three-pointers.

The Fever posted the clip of White’s announcement on X. Fans shared their thoughts on Clark’s reaction in the comments section.

How many times has Caitlin Clark won Player of the Week honors?​


The league has named Clark Player of the Week for the second time this season. It’s also the fifth of her professional career. What’s more impressive is she won the honor despite being on a minutes restriction.

Indiana is taking a cautious approach with the 24-year-old as she continues to deal with a lingering back issue. However, she played in back-to-back games and showed signs of being hampered by the ailment. Clark and the Fever will return to action on Wednesday when they take on the Connecticut Sun at home.
