The second round of interviews for the Cleveland Browns begins this week as they continue the search for their new head coach. They are packing the schedule with in-person interviews for candidates they've already met with once, as the search narrows.

The Browns are interested in bringing Los Angeles Rams pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase to Cleveland for a second interview. However, the Rams beating the Bears to earn a spot in the NFC Championship game might put a damper on their plans. As a result of the Rams' win, Cleveland can't interview Scheelhaas until January 26th.

So the question is whether they want to wait for Scheelhaase to be available to interview or move forward with another candidate who is available to interview this week. Personally, I would want to focus more on the Jaguars' offensive coordinator, Grant Udinski. But with just Mike McDaniel scheduled to interview in person, the team will have to bring in another minority candidate to satisfy the Rooney Rule if they don't want to wait to interview Scheelhaas.
