The Cleveland Browns get their first preseason test today against the Chicago Bears, and there's plenty to watch as the team continues to shape its roster ahead of the regular season.
Obviously the biggest storyline centers on the quarterback competition between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson. Browns coach Todd Monken said each quarterback will start one preseason game as Cleveland evaluates the position. Watson is expected to get the start against the Bears.
The game also provides the first look at Cleveland's revamped offensive line against an opposing defense. Veterans Tytus Howard, Elgton Jenkins and Zion Johnson join 2026 first-round draft pick Spencer Fano as key additions to a rebuilt unit.
Speaking of offensive linemen, Browns fans will see a familiar face. The Bears will play former Browns first-round pick Jedrick Wills Jr. at some point, but he won't be starting. That spot is going to Kiran Amegadjie. Chicago also won't play starting quarterback Caleb Williams. Veteran Tyson Bagent is expected to start and play the first half.
Here's what to know about how to watch Browns vs Bears:
On the broadcast will be Chris Rose (play-by-play), Joe Thomas (color analyst), and Aditi Kinkhabwala (sideline reporting).
