The Cleveland Browns don't plan to bring David Njoku back.
The athletic tight end has only played for Cleveland in his NFL career, but now a free agent, he looks likely to leave. The Browns will hand the full TE duties to Harold Fannin Jr. after a record-setting rookie season.
That leaves Njoku looking for a fresh start, and although he hasn't signed more than 24 hours into the NFL's legal tampering period, it should be coming.
Njoku has a market value of $10 million per year, according to Spotrac, which makes him the 24th-best free agent remaining on this list:

Also of note: Njoku is the only tight end in that top-25.
He didn't get to showcase his best self during the 2025 NFL season due to Fannin's emergence and some injuries, but Njoku is still an exciting offensive option.
A change of scenery could allow him to hit full stride, and if Njoku is at his best, that $10 million market value is totally fair.
He was the No. 29 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and has played nine seasons with the Browns.
Now, Njoku seems like he'll have no choice but to choose a new uniform to wear. Right now, he's probably waiting to get a payday and a fit that he feels like he deserves.
