Broncos Wire's 90-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at second-year wide receiver Pat Bryant, No. 13.
Before the Broncos: Bryant (6-2, 204 pounds) was a four-year player for the Illinois Illini, playing in 46 games, with 54 catches for 2,095 yards and 19 receiving touchdowns. Bryant had a wide catch radius that was intriguing to coaches across the NFL, including Denver's Sean Payton. Bryant was selected by the Broncos with the 74th overall pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL draft.
Broncos tenure: Bryant appeared in 15 games, starting seven of them for Denver. Bryant caught 31 passes on 49 targets for 378 yards and one touchdown. Bryant averaged over 12 yards per catch, good for second on the team for players with 20 or more targets or catches. Bryant did miss several games due to injury, including two concussions.
Chances to make the 53-man roster: Strong. Bryant represents a younger direction for the Broncos, who are trying to build for the future. Bryant's role will largely hinge on his health. After missing several games in 2025 with injuries, Bryant has a real chance to be a WR3 in the Broncos' offense quarterbacked by Bo Nix this fall.
