The Denver Broncos, like the rest of the NFL, are currently going through or finishing up organized team activities (OTAs), but as the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots exhibited earlier this month, shaping the roster doesn’t stop until a general manager is satisfied.

Which is why Pro Football Focus writer Bradley Locker suggested that Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims should be someone the Broncos front office should look at to Trade. Locker noted Mims' declining production, alongside the acquisition of Jaylen Waddle, making Mims a prime candidate to offload.

“Despite being a second-round pick three years ago, Mims has yet to fully realize his home-run-hitting potential," Locker wrote for PFF. "Throughout his career, he’s produced a 70.7 PFF receiving grade with 1.71 yards per route run. Where Mims has been at his best is on deep passes, earning a 94.3 receiving mark.

"With the Broncos trading for Dolphins superstar Jaylen Waddle in March, it knocks Mims down the depth chart — potentially all the way to fifth behind TroyFranklin and Pat Bryant. The 24-year-old would be appealing to other clubs as he enters a contract season, especially considering his strong return skills.”

Mims could be a “the more the merrier” situation. However, Waddle's arrival does crowd the depth chart, and coach Sean Payton clearly has big plans for Waddle. But remember, this is the offseason, so could it happen? Possibly. Will it? We shall see.
