After losing John Franklin-Myers during free agency, the Denver Broncos will look for reinforcements on the defensive line during the 2026 NFL draft later this month.

Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald (6-2, 326 pounds) met with the Broncos at the NFL combine. That was before Denver traded away its first-round draft pick for Jaylen Waddle, and NFL.com has McDonald projected as a first- or second-round prospect. So he might be out of the Broncos' range.

Denver also hosted Georgia defensive tackle Christian Miller (6-4, 321 pounds) and Florida defensive lineman Caleb Banks (6-6, 327 pounds) on "Top 30" visits. Banks is coming back from a foot injury, but the league's official website has him and Miller projected as second-round candidates.

Additionally, the Broncos met with Day 3 prospect Nick Barrett (6-3, 312 pounds) of South Carolina, and they had a virtual meeting with Navy’s Landon Robinson (5-11, 293 pounds), a late-round prospect.

Broncos defensive line interest

Following the Waddle trade last month, Denver holds seven picks in the 2026 NFL draft, which will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
