One game stands between Bridgewater Little League baseball and history.
On Thursday, Aug. 13, Bridgewater faces off against Maine (Gray New Gloucester) in the Little League New England Regional championship game in Bristol, Connecticut. The grand prize is a trip to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which begins Wednesday, Aug. 19. Bridgewater is seeking it's first-ever LLWS berth.
The Massachusetts District 7, Section 2, and state champions enter with a 2-0 record in the region. Maine (2-1) looks for revenge after falling to Bridgewater 7-0 in the opening game of the tournament.
Television coverage begins at 7 p.m. with first pitch coming shortly after. Follow here for live coverage prior to and throughout the championship game.
