The Bridgewater Little League train keeps rolling on.
After claiming its second state championship in three years on August 2, Bridgewater 12U starred in its first game of the Little League New England Regional on Saturday, August 8 in Bristol, Connecticut. Bridgewater shut out Maine 7-0 to move within two wins of a trip to Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series, which runs from Aug. 19-30.
Now playing in its second game of the regional, Bridgewater takes on Vermont in the winners bracket semifinal. The victor advances to the winner-take-all regional championship game on Thursday, Aug. 13.
First pitch is scheduled for 9 a.m. but we have you covered right here for coverage before and during the game.
